Being inspired...

As I write this I am watching Sklayr Brandt perform her debut as Odette, Act II from Swan Lake.

The sheer joy and ability to create these movements are from over a decade of training and you can honestly tell how much she loves it.

There are literally thousands of dancers in the world, right now currently working hard to perfect their craft, and many thousands more who simply dance for fun.

I am one of those dancers, the one for fun, the one who knows the expectation of what a 50 year old body can really do. Having people to inspire to, the teachers that share their love of dance is sometimes more than the actual ability of being able to " throw a leg "

So enjoy whatever form of dance you do, and inspire someone else to love the freedom of movement, simply for joy.....
